Ordering
All cake orders must be placed at least three week before the event. A minimum order of 50 servings is required. We suggest a minimum of six months for Weddings Cakes. In some cases we do make exceptions. Please call or email to find out our availability. Delivery is included in the cost of your cake, up to ten miles. Beyond that, a delivery fee of $50 will be required, plus $35 per hour after the first 30 minutes of travel time. Once the cake is set-up and we have left the site you are responsible for the safety of the cake. Payment by cash or check is expected 3 weeks upon the delivery of the order. Copyrighted designs cannot be reproduced, such as Disney character cakes.
Tasting
We do tasting for weddings cakes only, which consists of up to 4 flavor combinations to sample. We do charge a fee of $35 for tasting, but If you decide to book with us, this fee will be applied to the final balance of your cake.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve the date of your event. We must receive the balance 3 weeks before your event or a late fee of $100 will be charged. Contract is null and void, if your payment is not received 2 weeks before your event.
Fresh Flowers
If you are hiring a florist for your event the majority tend to include cake flowers in their quotes. If they don’t, be sure to ask, as we do not supply fresh cake flowers. Make sure they obtain flowers that are pesticide free and are not poisonous. Of course, if you choose a pillar style and wish to fill each gap with flowers completely you may find yourself exceeding the florists budget so be sure to advise your florist of your cake design. If your reception is going to be at a residence and you are not hiring a florist, we will be more than happy to do the cake flower arrangement free of charge. You simply need to make sure the cake flowers are clearly marked as such, and kept to one side of the cake table in a jug of water.
Pricing
Because of the care we give to each order, we require a minimum of $250 on all Celebration Cakes. All Wedding Cake orders require a minimum of $750. This pricing is based on the complexity of design, level of artwork, and the number of people being served.
